Project Description
The Association of Dăruieşte Viaţă has announced the building of Pediatric Hospital Facilities Architectural Scale Model, which will be the first pediatric oncology and radiotherapy hospital in Romania.The ambitious project is made to increase the survival rate among Romanian cancer patients, which, at the moment, is below 50%.
In this architectural scale model created by Blueprint Architecture architects, you will see a representation of the 8,000 sq.m. hospital. It will have a basement, a ground floor, and three more floors for Oncology and Radiotherapy.
The design of the building is different from that of other hospitals as it taps into nature, adding a tree accent on the building’s side to symbolize life. The exterior intertwines with its interior as architects use modern technologies to add other cultural and social elements to the design.They’ve also added colors in each room as the hospital will mostly cater to children cancer patients. Overall, the building will be a valuable addition to the city.
