Project Description
This conceptual scale model, represents an intricate study of a harbour area development. Originally created as a graduation project for the Architecture Faculty, this 1:1000 scale model demonstrates a sophisticated approach to urban planning and contextual analysis.
The model utilizes a striking aesthetic contrast to highlight project priorities. The surrounding urban fabric is represented through a field of black-painted wooden beads, providing a textured, abstract backdrop that emphasizes the relationship between the built environment and the harbour landscape.
The primary intervention—a proposed spa centre—is highlighted in a distinct yellow finish, immediately drawing the viewer’s eye to the heart of the project. This deliberate use of colour serves a functional purpose: it isolates the spa centre from its surroundings, allowing for a clear assessment of how the new structure integrates with the existing neighbouring area.
By providing this balanced view of both the project site and its broader context, the model effectively communicates the architectural vision and the potential impact of the design within the harbour masterplan.
