Project Description
Greek designs were always a favorite of every architect when building architectural structures.Like this model, the structure was made to show a very sophisticated office building design that is heavily inspired by Greco-Roman influences. This scale model, unlike many others, was made to be demountable, so it’s possible for viewers to see the interior. This allows clients to have a glimpse of the whole building inside and out.
We can see from a bird’s eye view that the design of the office building does borrow influences from Greek arenas and structures while combining both white and dark brown into its color scheme. Other traces of Greek influences can also be seen on the structures and shapes that are formed on the floor of the compound outside the building.
When you demount the first layer, you’ll be able to see the top floor of the building. We can see that the interior is supported by railings and pillars. We also see several rooms and hallways where people can move around. At two ends of the V-shaped structure are balcony decks.
These balcony decks, with brown floors, are seen in each floor and are more protruded than the one in the floor higher than it which adds a Greek style of architecture. If you demount the other floors, you’ll see that they all have the same design as the floor mentioned above. The only difference is that as you go lower, each floor gets longer.
Also, a set of stairs can be seen in the middle so that people can go up. While there are no models of people to show how one can move around the compound, we can already actually figure out how it is going to work in this building by simply demounting each floor.
What’s convenient is that we can see the exterior, the interior, and the entire compound being broken down to the most intricate of details. Thus, It’ll be easier to imagine how to work and navigate the area just by looking at the scale model.
