Project Description
This architectural model portrays a big and beautiful modern winery. The building has several stories wherein the owners could cultivate and display their delicious wines. This model was made out of white PVC and a combo of wood with a coating of paint. The paint job is very intricate and shows several shades of grey. The base is also made out of wood for a sturdy final output. All in all, this model was made in 4 days.
When you look at the building structure, it’s evident that the architect wanted to create a more modernized and industrialized type of winery as compared to other older wineries found in farms. Back in the old days, wineries were actually big houses that had the equipment and materials for making wine. However, this design resembles more of a convention center where you could not only make the wine inside, but you could also allow your guests to have a seat and sip a glass of your fine vintage.
This gives off a much more comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere, which is actually consistent with what a nice glass of fresh wine is supposed to represent anyway. As you can see from the model, there’s also a ramp found at the side of the structure. This indicates that there’s an underground basement where you could access the lower part of the winery. The ramp also allows vehicles to go to the lower part of the building since the lower area is where all the equipment and materials are delivered.
The architect made this design to industrialize classic wineries and add a newer style and more modern touch to the classic art of winemaking. The architect also aims to make the production of wine more efficient by creating a better structure that is more systematic and contemporary as compared to wine houses that were used in the past.
