Project Description
This architectural scale model depicts a high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial building complex. The complex is composed of multiple connected volumes of varying heights, creating a dynamic, stepped profile. The main element is a tall residential tower, featuring a repetitive grid of windows.
Adjacent to this tower is a mid-rise section, sharing a similar white and grey façade. A notable low-rise section anchors the front, distinguished by striking red cladding, which suggests dedicated commercial, retail, or office use and introduces a modern visual contrast.
Internal lighting is a key feature, simulating warmth and activity typical of evening viewing. The commercial areas at the base are intensely lit, while the upper floors show individual, warmly lit residential units, enhancing the model’s dramatic presentation.
This model effectively conveys the building’s scale, modern aesthetic, and the separation between its residential and commercial components through lighting and contrasting colors.
At the formal level, simple volumes have been used with clear dominance relations and a clear functional segregation. The ground floor comprises the main accesses and commercial spaces, the first two floors, used for offices, form a solid base for the towers with collective housing, and the mezzanine is a buffer zone between them, highlighted by large outdoor spaces and green terraces.
Located in one of the former industrial areas of the city, this multifunctional complex stands out by launching a process to revitalize urban waste areas and their proximity to the city and community. From a functional point of view, the complex includes a series of complementary functions, such as commercial spaces, offices, collective housing and green spaces, which animate the area in which it is located.
