Project Description
This full scale model shows the completed design of the aquatic center compound. The model shows the entire traffic scheme of the area and the walkways and entrances as well. This structure has a modern design that focuses on a sideway expansion instead of a high rise expansion.
For the front portion, we can see a wooden walkway connected to a couple of small stair sets for the people to walk in. This area is strictly for walking and can’t be crossed by any cars or vehicles. This will also be where some exhibits will be placed for the guests to enjoy.
For any cars or vehicles wanting to enter the compound, the architect built a roadway that circles around at the back entrance found on the other side of the building. From a bird’s eye view, we are able to see how the roads connect and lead to the rear entrance. In order to further emphasize this point, models of people walking around the front entrance were placed. This is to give a realistic view of how walking around the area is depicted.
The front portion of the structure is made out of eight-block buildings connected to each other. This row of small connecting buildings is also connected to another longer gray building that is placed at the back. The whole building is approximately 3 to 4 stories high and is painted a warm color scheme of brown, light grey and regular grey.
The long and grey building serves as the entrance to the compound and where people can register. From there, people can go in and reach the front portion outside of the eight brown block buildings. The whole model of the compound took almost 3 weeks to create because of its intricate detail. A team of 4 architects created the final design to complete the aquatic center scale model.
