Project Description
This is a scale model of an apartment in Bucharest, commissioned for the Interior Design Faculty of the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism. It features floors made of distinct materials that help differentiate the rooms: hardwood floors in the bedrooms and living room, and floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchen.
The beds, closets and bookcases are made of balsa wood. The 1:50 scale model also features details such as window and door carpentry, chairs, tables and balcony parapet.
