Project Description
This project was commissioned as a bespoke gift, highlighting the potential of architectural scale models as unique, high-end presentation pieces. The model captures the distinctive architectural character of a P+1+M residence, notable for its unique mansard windows and complex roofing profile. The model demonstrates a sophisticated use of materials to achieve textural realism. The striking roof, featuring engraved and painted cardboard, is color-matched to the façade’s red accents, which were constructed using high-quality paperboard.
A key feature is the use of semi-opaque Plexiglas for the windows, which provides a sleek finish while discreetly obscuring the internal compartmentalization. To complete the presentation, the surrounding landscape is enriched with synthetic grass and custom green-painted loofah trees, adding a layer of organic detail that brings the residence to life.
