Project Description
This architectural scale model showcases the design of a contemporary multifunctional centre, created as part of an architectural design project to demonstrate the successful integration of a new building within an existing urban environment. The model highlights the relationship between the proposed structure and the surrounding buildings, providing a clear understanding of the project’s overall composition and architectural concept.
The proposed building is presented with a high level of detail, emphasizing its modern geometry, façade design, and transparent glazed areas, while the neighboring structures are intentionally simplified to direct attention to the new development. This approach effectively illustrates how the project fits naturally into its urban context without distracting from the primary architectural proposal.
Manufactured at 1:200 scale, the model is crafted using premium white acrylic (Plexiglas) for the building volumes, while tinted acrylic elements recreate the glazing and curtain wall systems. The landscaped courtyards feature realistic synthetic grass, miniature trees, and carefully selected architectural entourage, creating an attractive and balanced presentation.
Architectural scale models such as this are invaluable tools for design reviews, academic presentations, planning approvals, public consultations, and client meetings. They transform complex architectural drawings into an intuitive three-dimensional representation, making it easier to communicate design intent and spatial relationships.
