Project Description
This was a proposal for Romania’s pavilion at Expo Milano 2015. The 1:100 scale model is made of Plexiglas, balsa wood and, for vegetation areas, synthetic grass. The totem placed at the entrance is painted in national flag colours, and letters on it are laser-engraved.
Entourage elements were also added: the people are painted white, so that they stand out, and the bushes are made of green-painted loofah. Inside the building, certain structural details can be seen, such as floor finishes and roof frame elements. In front of the building there is a wooden garden with vegetation made of green sponge.
