Project Description
This is an architectural model of a modern, multi-story Apartment Building. The model features a contemporary design with several distinct architectural elements:
- Structure and massing: The building has a stepped or tiered massing, with the upper floors receding, to create large rooftop terraces and to comply with zoning regulations for light and shadow. The main body of the building is characterized by a grid-like pattern of windows and balconies.
- Color palette and materials: The primary facade is a light color (beige or off-white) contrasting sharply with dark window frames and, most notably, a striking use of red on the balcony railings and vertical accents. This red element provides a dynamic, modern flair to the exterior.
- Balconies: Almost every unit appears to have a private balcony, which is a common feature in modern apartment living. The dark frames and red accents of the balconies are prominent.
- Site context: The model is placed on a black base that includes minimal landscaping, such as small trees and shrubs, to the right and left of the entrance level.
Miniature cars are shown parked at the base of the building, and small human figures are placed on the balconies, which provides a sense of the building’s scale and intended residential use.
Since the models are more and more real and basically represent a real masterpiece, they practically become a marketing tool that influences the sale. In terms of sales, we are talking about “selling” the image of the company which produces such models, because it will increase its esteem in front of those who will invest in them, but also that of the company requesting a model.
The architectural team envisions a project that is not just aesthetically appealing with the right combination of colors but is also multi functional and makes living more a lot more convenient. They created the model as a representation of how detail-oriented the building is and constructed with future developments in consideration.
