Project Description
This architectural scale model represents a Warehouse facility developed for Fairbanks Morse Defense, designed to reflect a modern industrial environment focused on efficiency and operational functionality. The building features a clean, robust architectural form with a practical layout tailored for logistics and storage operations.
The structure is defined by large-volume spaces, optimized for high-capacity storage and streamlined workflow. Its minimalist exterior design is complemented by functional elements such as loading areas, access points, and service zones, all carefully integrated into the overall composition.
The surrounding site is thoughtfully designed to support industrial activity, including organized parking areas, circulation routes, and landscaped green spaces that enhance both accessibility and visual balance. The inclusion of vehicles, road markings, and vegetation elements adds realism and context to the model, illustrating how the facility operates within a real-world setting.
Fairbanks Morse Defense builds, maintains, and services the most trusted naval power and propulsion systems on the planet. For more than 100 years, FMD has been a principal supplier of a growing array of leading marine technologies, OEM parts, and turnkey services to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and Canadian Coast Guard.
Industrial models differ and can be transformed from a simple conceptual demonstration of working principles, to a detailed presentation of the architectural model, which depends on the purpose of the model.
