Project Description
This is a graduation project made for the Architecture Faculty. It is a 1:500 scale model of the International Airport, which consists of the central body and a control tower. The shape is simple and elegant, and the model features a discreet zenithal light slit across the roof, for which semi-opaque Plexiglas was used, as was the case for façade glazing.
The project also features a parking area (with car models), a landing strip (with airplane models), and passenger access gates. Green-painted PVC was used for the grass, and the trees are made of loofah. It took 7 days to complete.
